Professor Pınar Kursoglu,

Graduated from Istanbul University Faculty of Dentistry. In the same faculty, Kursoglu started to her postgraduate education in the Department of Prosthodontics.

In 1996 during postgraduate education, went to United States of America and got the opportunity to work with Jeffrey Okeson , director of the “Orofacial Pain Center” and with his team about “Temporomandibular Joint and Masticatory Muscle Disorders (TMD)” in Kentucky University. And then came back to homeland and completed her PhD programme.

Kursoglu started working at Yeditepe University Faculty of Dentistry as ‘Assistant Professor’ and took the degree of ‘Associate Professor’ and ‘Professor’ respectively in the same university.

Prof. Kursoglu pursues her clinical and scientific researches for over 25 years, mainly about temporomandibular disorders, occlusion, fixed and removable prosthetic applications including laminates and implant supported prosthesis, sleep dentistry (bruxism, snoring and sleep apnea). In these fields, she takes part in conferences and courses as a lecturer.

Pinar Kursoglu is still a member of Yeditepe University Faculty of Dentistry, Department of Prosthodontics as a Professor.
