Restorative materials and luting agents: a combined approach to modern Prosthodontics with high esthetic demands
Achieving long-term success in modern Prosthodontics requires a precise selection of restorative materials and luting agents, especially when addressing cases with high esthetic demands. This lecture will explore the latest advancements in ceramic and hybrid materials, focusing on their mechanical properties, optical characteristics, and clinical indications. Additionally, it will be discussed the critical role of adhesive and conventional cementation protocols, evaluating their impact on marginal adaptation, durability, and esthetic outcomes.
Through a case-based approach, participants will gain insights into material selection, surface treatment, and cementation techniques tailored to different clinical scenarios. The lecture will also highlight common pitfalls and best practices to optimize the integration of restorative materials and luting agents, ensuring predictable and long-lasting restorations.
This session is designed for clinicians aiming to enhance their expertise in esthetic-driven Prosthodontics, combining scientific evidence with practical applications for improved patient outcomes.
